Yes. Any day or time you wish, you can order online.
We ship to the entire United States of America. We deliver with our own vehicles within NY an a 50-mile radius around it. After 50 miles and all other states, we ship via UPS. We do not ship outside the United States.
You can order in any amount or quantity you wish. You can visit our shipping policy page for details on free shipping. (Shipping is free to addresses up to 50 miles from out stores for orders $50 and up, and to addresses up to 100 miles for orders $400 and up.)
All orders places between noon and 11:59PM are delivered within 24 hours. Orders places outside these times are delivered next day. Local deliveries are made between noon and 8PM.
  • If your order is under $50, shipping costs $7 up to 50 miles.
  • For between 51-60 miles, shipping costs $10 for orders under $400.
  • For between 61-70 miles, shipping costs $20 for orders under $400.
  • For between 71-80 miles, shipping costs $30 for orders under $400.
  • For between 91-100 miles, shipping costs $50 for orders under $400.
You order is shipped via UPS based on your chosen mode of shipping. Orders places on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays: UPS Next Day, UPS 2nd Day, PS 3rd Day, UPS Ground Orders Placed on Thursdays: UPS Next Day Orders Placed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: UPS Ground
Yes. You can pick up your order from our restaurant, Café Mekan. We ask that you specify that you will pick up your order from our pick-up location in the notes section during ordering. When your order is prepared, you will be notified via e-mail or SMS. Your order, which will be prepared within a day can be picked-up from our restaurant between 9AM - 9PM, seven days a week. Address: 693 Bergen Blvd., Ridgefield, New Jersey.
We ship via UPS for addresses 100 miles and up from out stores. Shipping costs are determined based on your order amount, weight of the items in your order and your chosen shipping mode. Shipping costs are displayed on the payment screen.
For local deliveries, you are notified when your order is out for delivery, in accordance with your chosen mode of communication (e-mail or SMS). For shipped orders, your tracking number and URL are sent to the e-mail address in our system. You can track the status of your order by clicking on this link and entering the tracking number or by downloading the shop app to your phone from this link and entering the tracking number.
Prior to your order being shipped, you can cancel your order, add new products, remove certain items, or change delivery date. For changes to your order, you can contact us as soon as possible at our Customer Service number 201-294-6455, through the Live Help button or by sending an e-mail to info@turkishfoodbasket.com. Before notifying us of changes to your order, we ask that you make sure your order hasn’t been shipped. For orders cancelled before the final local delivery and/or after handing over to shipping, the customer is charged for 100% of the cost of the perishables and a storage cost of 25 % of the cost of packaged products excluding fees and taxes. If you miss the delivery date but still cannot receive the order for whatever reason, please contact Turkish Food Basket Customer Service at 201-294-6455. Shipped orders cannot be cancelled.

Your payment is refunded immediately after cancellation of your order. The duration it takes the amount to end up in your account differs from bank to bank.
Frozen items are cooked first and frozen afterwards. Items are shipping within special boxes with dry ice and are preserved for up to 72 hours. To avoid all risks, frozen items are shipped only via UPS Next Day.
You can heat the delivered frozen items in the oven or microwave oven, in accordance with preparation instructions, and consume immediately. Should you not wish to consume immediately, you can keep the product in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
How can I leave a tip? You do not need to leave a tip but if you think we provide especially good service, you can choose to leave a tip at the payment screen or tip the Turkish Food Basket employee in cash during delivery. Should you choose to tip online, the entire tip is given to the delivering employee in accordance with our procedures.
