Spinach with meat is a traditional dish that can be either enjoyed both as a main course and as an appetizer. Fresh spinach leaves are gathered, carefully cleaned, and cut into small pieces, ready to be cooked with rice. Afterward, a good amount of diced onion is caramelized and added on top of grass-fed ground cattle meat that is cooked in low heat. When the meat mixture is in exact form, the spinach and rice are added on top of it with a rich dash of extra-virgin olive oil. For a final touch, tomato paste is added for a fresh zesty aroma.
