Homemade Lahmacun (6 Piece)
Turkish lahmacun or lahmacun is a round, thin piece of dough that is topped with spicy mincemeat, minced vegetables, and herbs. It is a popular dish in Turkey as well as the Middle East. It resembles a pizza hence it is also known as Turkish pizza, but the fact that its dough is so thin and the topping is quite spicy adds a very unique taste to it. The topping is made with high-quality mincemeat, which is 100% beef, along with minced vegetables such as onions, garlic, parsley, and tomatoes. Afterward, exotic spices are added and the meat mixture is rested for a while until it gains its full flavor. The topping is then added on top of a thin layer of wheat dough that becomes very crispy once baked. The dish is served hot with lemons, parsley, onions, and tomatoes. COOKING INSTRUCTION: Fully cooked, just place in preheated oven 350F for 3 minutes.
NOTE: Defrosting is not necesary before heating.
